Activities
Beyond the
classroom.
I lead teams, compete in arenas, and spend my free time building things — sometimes out of LEGO bricks, sometimes out of code. What connects all of it is the same impulse: find something worth doing and go all in.

Team Captain
FIRST LEGO League — UNEARTHED Season
Led a team of six through robot design, programming, and a research project
focused on underground resource exploration. Managing six people under competition
pressure taught me more about leadership than any textbook — especially when
our robot failed its first run at regionals. We fixed it in ten minutes and ran again.

THIMUN Qatar
Represented Azerbaijan at the General Assembly First Committee — Disarmament
and International Security — at one of the world's most prestigious Model UN
conferences, hosted by Qatar Foundation at the Qatar National Convention Centre
in Doha. Debating nuclear policy in a room of hundreds of delegates from around
the world was clarifying: the problems worth solving are never purely technical.

Judo
Active · Yellow-White Belt
Competitive training at İzmir Büyükşehir Belediye Spor. Started in January 2026
and completed the first belt examination. Judo has a way of humbling you quickly —
efficiency over force, patience over aggression. Lessons that transfer well
beyond the mat.

Tennis
Active · Moving toward licensed play
Playing tennis since 2022 — one of the first things I picked up seriously
outside of school. Not yet licensed, but that's the next step: getting a
federation license and entering competitive play. Three years of rallies
have built a solid foundation to build on.

🎮
League of Legends
My biggest gaming passion. There's a reason LoL has lasted this long —
the strategic depth, the teamwork, the constant meta shifts. I take it
seriously enough to actually study it.

LEGO
Building with LEGO is where I first understood that constraints aren't
limitations — they're the puzzle. From Technic sets to custom builds,
it's where engineering and creativity overlap. FLL didn't hurt either.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
A deep appreciation for the MCU — the storytelling architecture across
30+ films, the character arcs, the way it built a shared universe from scratch.
It's genuinely impressive world-building, even if some phases hit harder than others.

Guitar
Currently in the "wanting to play" phase — specifically, wanting an electric guitar.
The interest is real, the instrument isn't quite in hand yet.
Next step: actually convincing my parents. Then actually learning to play.

Piano
Played piano through primary and middle school — long enough to reach
the Turkish March (Rondo alla Turca). Stopped in middle school, but
the musical foundation stayed. It's the kind of thing you don't fully
lose.

Reading
History, science, and books that challenge how I think about the world.
Mostly nonfiction — though a good story told well is hard to put down
regardless of the genre.
